Alzheimer's Association International Conference 2024

I recived a travel award from the Alzheimer's Association that help support me traveling to this conference. This year the Liz Lab all got to go to AAIC which was held in Philadelphia. . This conference was clinical heavy, but had a special session for Alzheimer's research focusing on inflammation, viruses, and other glial cells.

We got to catch up with one of our lab alumni who is now in medical school in NJ. Speaking of NJ!!!! Since we were so close to NJ we took a ride there for an imagine dragons concert one of the nights

My labmates and I decided to take a train to NYC for a night before heading back to Louisiana. This was the first time Laura ( a visiting scholar from England) visited NY. We got free tickets to the daily show and saw the statue of liberty.
